While Daddy was out of town for a business trip Liam and I got to lounge around with one another. It was pretty nice - typically if Daddy is home, Mommy is stewed peas so getting some nice one-on-one time was fantastic! This is Liam on the couch this morning - he woke up a little earlier than usual (6:15am ouch!) and decided he wanted to first sleep in bed with mom and then later decided to sleep on the couch (I'm using the term sleep lightly here - it was more rolling around and flipping our pillow over and over)
Last night we had a lot of fun at supper. On the drive home Liam decided he wanted breakfast for supper. So, what else but pancakes right? We decided to make dinosaur pancakes (doggie bone shape was a close second.) Typically Liam can be picky about how much food he eats but he ate three whole dinosaur pancakes without blinking! He just ate and ate and ate (a couple roars in between too)
After we ate our dinosaur pancakes (mommy got the things cut off around the dinosaurs so mine were a little less fun) we decided to paint some pictures for our family members. He asked me out of the blue - "Mommy, I paint for Aunt Sissy and Mimsy and G-Ma?" So I said sure, let's go get some paint and paper. We setup shop at the kitchen table and got to painting. Now, when you three receive your paintings you should know that each color combination was customized by Liam (he actually said Aunt Sissy likes purple, etc.) Very special!!!
For some reason Liam is also going through a phase of saying "that's at my Grandpa's house." So should you say to him, Liam, do you see the penguin on TV? He would reply, ya it's at my Grandpa's house! Apparently EVERYTHING is at Grandpa's house because we've decided penguins are there, applesauce is there, Bob the Builder is there, lizards are there, flamingos are there, and many more things. Grandpa's house is really cool according to Liam!
