I just had to have a moment to giggle to myself - while I am still not completely well, I feel as though part of me is returning to the land of the living this morning. 99.6 fever, not as bad as before, and my nose isn't on like a faucet this morning so far. So everyone all together, HOORAY! I had just enough energy to dress my little Lima Bean for school this morning. This has really been my first hands on interaction with him since last Friday. Of course, he had decided on his own outfit not to be overturned with my opinions of his fashion sense. I just couldn't tell him no... I mean, there are worse things to do as a parent right? I figured his outfit choice would only draw minimal scrutiny from his teachers today since they know mommy is home sick. I think they will just assume my husband dressed him! Before the boys jetted out the door this morning, I snapped a quick picture of my son's fashion catastrophe. Not a good way to get the ladies before Valentine's Day Liam!!! If you can't see it well enough, he is wearing BOTH jeans with a pair of gray athletic shorts over those jeans. I mean, you tell me, was arguing and telling my two and a half year old son that he could not wear those beautiful gray shorts OVER his super sweet jeans worth the battle? I didn't think it was - and those shorts and jeans brought the biggest smile to his face leaving for school so I figured that maybe, just maybe, I somehow helped his self confidence today. More posts later today as I try to make homemade Valentine's for his class party tomorrow since I have no energy to go to the store to buy some. Construction paper, glue sticks, and scissors here we come!

YOU ARE KIDDING...RIGHT? THIS, COMING FROM THE PERSON WHO WORE A LEOPARD UNITARD UNDER HER CLOTHES TO KINDERGARTEN?? ONCE YOU GOT INSIDE THE BUILDING, OFF CAME THE 'OUTER CLOTHES' REVEALING THE UNITARD FOR YOUR WARDROBE SELECTION OF THE DAY~~TO WEAR ALL DAY AT SCHOOL. WHAT DO YOU THINK THE TEACHERS THOUGHT OF MISS CHRISTIE'S PARENTS WAY BACK THEN? YES, YOU DRESSED 'TO THE SOUND OF A DIFFERENT DRUMMER', TOO, CHRISTIE...AND I LOVED EVERY MINUTE WATCHING YOUR CREATIVITY COMING THRU...AND THERE WERE SOME VERY CREATIVE OUTFITS! I STILL LAUGH MYSELF TO TEARS THINKING ABOUT YOU AS A LITTLE GIRL, CHRISTIE. THERE IS NO DOUBT...LIAM IS YOUR SON!! GOD BLESS HIM!!! MISS MARCIA
